clouds
changelings
of Lower Heaven
who listen
to th’ eyes below
who speak
sometimes in moody wisps
sometimes in tears
till as ghosts
under the blue breath of Day
or the chandeliers of Night
they sleep
family time
oft rival siblings
armistice at dinner time
classical felines
drags and drinks
she sips between tokes
contemplating life’s issues
it’s her happy hour
Crane of Paradise
Seductress
of eyes athirst
of lovers faithful
to Truth
of ideas embracing
wherefore of Life
Winter
polar mist
upon me descends
my raiment to shed
myself to slumber
to hibernate
to muse
of the wonderscape
outside my dream cave
till on my brow
comes knocking
the breath of Spring
mystic dandelion
be we but pollen
feeding firm Emptiness
knocking on Night’s sleeping doors
to taste a Lifetime
to aspire for Another
even if Eternity be lore
and beyond our reach?
we’ll see
or not
