Looking Glass

reflection
in Mirror
has no weight

only power
sought or dispel’d
by her viewer

Restless Cerebrations

pollen from thought to thought
until “The” thought

fingers stroke where speech breathes
to where smells migrate

and yawns and stirs the lover
with infant’s eyes on a date with night

draw passion into syringe
stab into mind
and hew the tourniquet

thy bosom
the sun
flash flood

then drought in soporific beam

Spark

my dearly belov’d Sight
unveil

that She might
caress the distance
with Clarity

and of Myself let the rest
Imagine a Meaning

Time

thru infinity’s door
her shadowy breath
her ghostly heartbeat
an eternal enigma
an Immortal
possessing everything
and not knowing it

Options

mostly
mine own feet to blame

seeking cracks in brightness
romantic fissures conquering ambition

that other lives
fabrications like diverse repeating decimals
might be liv’d

translating “where I am”

Secondary Soul (from the Time Capsule)

as far as she
        shines
flyeth she
   till a wall
wherein she’ll penetrate
curiously and see
          behind
to the next wall

how she might
despair
        fantasizing
great flocks
         of dust mold’d
with space
to a clay
      ever confusing
      and reidentifying

I’m born
                I live
I die
(suppos’dly)
Something’s before
                         during
                              and after
             me
(suppos’dly)

          but
of myself a part
has always been
   I
      of Everything

or is Everything
               Me?

for Now
…perhaps
