Golden Routine

always
as if for the last time
her daily stroll she takes

to admire the beauty
speaking to her
which never gets old

unlike her own life
now crown’d with gray hair
and cheerful reflections
that sometimes lower her spirits

still
her heart blows a kiss
and smiles farewell
till the next tomorrow

Lucky Me

to be me
Then…
again

how awesome
for even
one grant’d wish

to
the pleasure
the pliancy
the plainness
of Youth

rush runging
the ladder
to seize Hereafter

to
the laggard
the lapse
the languidness
of Eldership

but
for the Life
that I Love—
for the Love
of my Life—

I’ll keep Today’s harvest

Blink in Time

beheld my eyes
a glimpse of unpostur’d Beauty

a Stranger from my Youth
a transient Yen
a fleeting Dream
absorb’d by the sun’s shadow

a blissful reminder
of Spring
long lost to this Age
now here… too soon

Olden Love

                                          another seasons of four
                                          have we shar’d

                                          be the fog
                                          thicker

                                          the sidewalks
                                          more uneven

                                          our thoughts
                                          often lost in thought

                                          yet whenever I feel
                                          the lifelines
                                          of thy fragile hand
                                          with mine
                                          ‘tis yesterday’s light
                                          I behold
                                          in that fairest of faces
