Hallow’d Alms

Morning opens her eyes,
kisses the cold cheeks
of sleeping bouquets,
who yawn and stretch their emerald
petals and shower prismatic
pollen upon granitic
angels, their morning breakfast
of sharing last night’s dreams,
until the first knee
genuflects before them
and asks forgiveness

MallTel

air purifier?

safety from Nature’s witchcraft?

hereafter’s bird cage?

Unfolding

a hundred million years
from now
will mankind
move to other worlds
or fade away
entirely

if so
by then
it might be my turn
to walk
upright

Cerebration Block

the sinew of my thoughts
has melt’d away
scattering their bones
in a crapshoot
to indecision

what can I dream up next?

gotta smear
that blank canvas
let the daubs
inspire my sight
ere I sleep on it

Culture

the Rustic toiling

alongside th’ Embellish’d

molds a Way of Life

Passion Key (from the Time Capsule)

fronds of amethyst spellbound
by a fragrance from heaven

whins of sapphire tittering
on a clear night

tendrils of turquoise in song
to a warm heart

the ruby of a rainbow the star
of a summer’s rain

it is You

Addiction

desperation

for a whole minute
no ringtones

no voices to hear
no texts to read
no one’s answering

somehow
he must at least
try to speak to himself
his fix to satisfy

while his mind
grins and whispers
“Do you hear yourself?
Do you see yourself?”
