Collision of Thoughts (03/24)

‘twas not always a part
of this infrequent dream
where land and sky rendezvous’d
in quiet harmony

but now a distant gap
has been arcanely occupy’d
with another mystery to engage
this already megafusion of senses

what else might be there
on some return trip?

Dream III

splash’d was my mind
with a whisper
of hue on furlough
of age forgotten
of entities that never were

and when my eyes
yawn’d and left their pillow
strain’d I my intellect
only to remember none of it

and still but a partial play
in a future slumber

Privy Lamp Post

where late evenings

awaken

the shadows

reflections

and whispering silence

of her night life

Ghost Citadel

within these ramparts
converse the spirits
of fortress life
of defenders
of battles won to preserve that life
of battles lost and lives lost

this magical day
decipher’d their stories
into song across the sky
on the Backbone of Day

Haven of Reflection

where shadows of thoughts

perceive irenic meaning

and sleeps disruption

Collision of Thoughts Unthinking (09-23)

hear I sometimes
the silent ones
so mischaracteriz’d

how are they?
or why?
to serve
to rule
to just pass time
with me?

possibly
my presuppos’d control
over them
be their way
of regulating my performances
both regular and unnatural

Kandy

This is an oil painting I gifted to my neighbor, Robert.

His small precious dog is old and slow and
often has to be carried halfway through her walk—
which is just fine with her.
