Today’s Aspiration

thru a rift in the fabric
                                            of cold uncertainty
                                            fly our deafen’d spirits

                                            from the bugles of despair
                                            towards that sparkle
                                            in the spire of time

oh!  to feel the warm voices
                                           of angels
on the wings of a Miracle

Beautifully written. I can hear the angels through the cries of the dolphins in the Venice canal, or the birds calling in Wuhan (if I were there). Things feel a bit dark and uncertain right now. But the natural world is coming alive while we quarantine, and stop polluting, even if only for a little bit. I’m trying to feel the hope in that. Maybe we can change the fabric of our society after this scare. There will be no more getting back to ‘normal’. But the new normal will hopefully be better. Hope you are well!

My wife and I were commenting on how, because of the drop in the massive traffic and industry in China, the air there is so much more healthier to breath. At least I can still resume seeding for our vegetable garden (since our travel plans to the east coast have changed.) And the birds here will remain happy with their morning bread crumbs and wild bird seed. Be safe, and thanx for stopping by, Linda.
